Eligibility for membership of The College is determined by the Board of Governors of The College, in accordance with recommendations from the Membership Committee, which now deals with all applications for membership. The Membership Committee is a standing committee of The College.
All existing and new members of The College are required to adhere to the Code of Professional Conduct of The College and it is no longer a requirement of membership that they must retain their membership of any other psychoanalytic organisation, for the purpose of ensuring that they are subject to the code of ethics and complaint procedures of such an organisation.
The College publishes an online register of its members. All new members are asked to promptly advise our office of the personal details they wish to disclose to the public through this register.
